Founded in 2023 in response to witnessing the stark impact of homelessness in Ottawa, Canada, Urban Outreach embodies the belief that everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Our mission is rooted in providing comprehensive support, and giving those in need what they rightfully deserve. We are committed to fostering a community where individuals regain their independence and dignity.
What We Do
We are committed to providing the homeless with the tools they need to regain their independence. Our services are designed to address the immediate needs of the homeless community, while also empowering individuals to take control of their financial future.
Financial Literacy Workshops
Empowering the homeless with vital financial skills through engaging sessions on budgeting, saving, and basic investment knowledge. Practical support to ensure access to entitled financial resources.
Nutritious Meals
Regular provision of meals to address immediate needs, recognizing the link between physical well-being and financial stability.
Collaborative Partnerships
Building connections with local businesses, educational institutions, and volunteers to broaden the impact of Urban Outreach.
